Jamie hummed against her mouth, melting into the kiss. For all of his indecision, being with her was surprisingly effortless, second nature in a way he would've never anticipated -- could never have anticipated. When he eased away a moment later, he smiled at her, still unguarded, his mind singularly focused on her. With a laugh that bordered on giddy, he ducked his head to press another kiss to her shoulder, her hair tickling his nose.
