Jamie let go of her only to let the dress pool to the floor. Once that was done, his hands again found her waist, and he nudged her back just a little bit, guiding them both into her room so that he could close the door, and not worry about the dog interrupting whatever they were going to do -- if anything.
He had his doubts that they would go much further than this, in spite of their earlier conversation, but it was different enough from their usual fare to draw out a moan. Whether it all came screeching to a halt in twenty seconds or twenty minutes, he was intent on enjoying it while it lasted.
