Jamie had been about to launch into some non sequitur when Richards bounded out of the jungle covered in dirt, tail wagging. With a piercing bark, he jumped up onto the porch, and pressed his paws against Jamie's legs, unmindful of the fact that he was trailing mud over his jeans.

"That's... one mystery solved," he said with a sigh, scratching the dog behind his ears in the hopes that it'd get him to stand down. "Great. Now I need to change."
